Benedek
Benedek fuses acid washed funk, house, electro and Latin freestyle while venturing into new age and fusion territory to create a hybrid style all his own that could only come from his hometown of Los Angeles. Armed with an arsenal of synthesizers, rhythm machines, and his electric guitar, he has years under his belt performing his unique live set and DJing worldwide. Benedek has released music on legendary labels such as PPU Peoples Potential Unlimited, L.I.E.S., Apron, Music From Memory and Stones Throw Records' sub-label Leaving Records. His catalog includescollaborations with Steve Arrington, Delroy Edwards, Dam-Funk, Tom Noble, Korean New Jack king Kirin and 8 ball town, Jamma D, Joyce Wrice, Devin Morrison, dreamcastmoe, Steven Julien, Tom Curruthers and more. Audiences from LA to Melbourne, Bologna to Tokyo have been touched by his electrified live sets.
Yuka Mizuhara
Yuka Mizuhara aka Ashley Yuka is a Japan-based DJ, model , and musical artist who serves up eclectic mixes on her long running NTS show “Wave Flower.” A protege of legendary japanese DJ Towa Tei, she began DJing vinyl after he encouraged her to put her encyclopedic musical knowledge to use. In 2016 she began DJing at Towa Tei’s Records events where she showcased her soulful, old school yet fresh style. In addition to her DJing, she occasionally sings alongside her sister Kiko as the Mizuhara Sisters, performing with Towa Tei and Yukihiro Takashi’s band Metafive, and the legendary Haruomi Hosono. Currently, she is dedicated to producing her own music with LA based artist Benedek and working on her own ambient organic electronic compositions which she often creates for her sister Kiko’s Kiiks cosmetic brand and other soundtracks other creative projects with her unique vision.
Guest House
Guest House (@guesthousesg) is an assembly of like-minded house dancers, of all levels made out of dancers of all levels and history of styles. Guest House promotes the idea of inclusiveness and centring their emphasis on dance culture around sharing music and community education.
T.T.O.O
T.T.O.O (@t.t___o.o) is a curation-driven and aesthetic-culture duo started by Hilary Yeo and Elsa Wong. Their work confounds various forms of art-making into other opposing and complementary genres like fashion, film and writing while addressing cultural movements with a generous spirit and lighthearted approach. Iterations to their work manifest online and IRL, across a range of media and platforms, from site-specific exhibitions to fashion projects and collaborations.
